Bhubaneswar, Odisha Minister Rabi Narayan Naik Said that the state government is conducting a statewide survey for this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana After which houses will be provided to the beneficiaries accordingly.

He said that there are total 10 criteria under which the survey is being conducted.

Speaking to ANI, Rabi Narayan Naik on Thursday said, “For the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, we are doing the survey, our criteria includes 10 things. In the beginning, we have created awareness in every panchayat… We People have been informed about the survey.” …We have launched a mobile app, details of the poor will be uploaded in it…Specially disabled people and widows will also be included…The salaries of the people will also be considered…By the way, The department will get the list in two months, get the survey done again… After that, arrangements will be made to provide Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana…”

Earlier in November, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had lauded the ‘Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’ and said the scheme was providing shelter to lakhs of homeless families, a press release said.

Pointing out that thousands of people have got permanent houses under this scheme in Uttarakhand, CM Dhami said that along with the Centre, the state government is also providing assistance.

So far, more than 34 thousand houses have been built in Uttarakhand under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Housing for All (Urban). The state government has also signed an agreement with the Center for the second phase of the scheme, in which beneficiaries will be able to get more financial grants, the release said.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Housing for All (Urban), housing is provided to all homeless families living in urban areas. Subsidy/grant for housing construction is provided under four components to homeless families with annual income ranging from Rs 3 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.

To achieve the objective of “Housing for All” in rural areas, the Government of India had launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) from April 2016 with the target of constructing 2.95 crore houses with basic amenities. .
