Indore: The District Administration The process of giving land ownership rights to the residents of 29 villages included in the municipal corporation limits has been started.
In the year 2014, the municipal limits were expanded by including 29 villages in Indore district. Residents of these villages who are in possession of residential land or their heirs/transferees can apply for a lease without a lease. land holding rights, Chief Minister Mohan YadavInstructions have been given in this regard in the recent meeting held in Indore.
At present, landowners living in these 29 villages within the municipal corporation limits face difficulties in selling their houses or obtaining loans for house construction due to lack of registration, lease or other documents.
Such persons can apply for land holding rights on the basis of the circular issued by the Revenue Department on 24 September 2020. They will be given a lease for 30 years, so that they can easily obtain loans and sell or transfer the property as per the need.
Applications will be received by organizing camps in Juni Indore, Malharganj, Rau, Bichauli Hapsi and Kanadiya tehsil offices on 29 September 2024. After verification, eligible beneficiaries will be given leases under land holding rights.
SDM Rau Vinod Rathore said, “Online applications for lease will be accepted at the camps. Applicants have to bring the required documents, such as electricity bill, water supply bill, any correspondence/document issued by any government office or undertaking related to the plot, address mentioned in the 2011 census, property tax receipt issued by the local authority and name/address listed in the voter list.”
