New Delhi: Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is ready to be introduced E-Auction For recently offered flats Dwarka Housing Scheme 2024 will start from 24 September.
The authority launched three programs Housing Schemes on August 20 – Affordable Housing Scheme (7,124 EWS and LIG flats), Middle Class Housing Scheme (1,843 EWS, MIG and HIG flats), and Dwarka Housing Scheme (173 flats) – at seven locations in the capital.
The flats in the first two schemes were given on first come, first served basis. The e-auction is for penthouse, super HIG, HIG and MIG categories in various sectors of Dwarka.
Last date for submission of Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and last date for final submission of applications dwarka flats The final results of the scheme were announced on 17 and 19 September respectively.
In a recent circular, the DDA said, “The live e-auction for these flats will be conducted from September 24-26 daily from 11 am to 12 noon and 3-4 pm. Initially, the bidding process will be for one hour and if a higher bid is placed in the last 5 minutes, the bidding process will automatically extend for another 5 minutes. This process will continue for a maximum of 20 times. Hence, any auction can last for a maximum of 2 hours and 40 minutes.”
An official said, “More than 2,000 people have deposited EMD for 173 flats in Dwarka, so we are hopeful that all the flats will be sold easily. We also hope that the sale of flats under the Sasta and Madhyama schemes will also pick up during Navratri.”
Of the 8,967 DDA flats offered in the last two schemes and categories, around 1,700 flats have been sold so far.
A DDA official said, “In fact, the DDA was successful in selling all the flats in Jasola, besides the flats in Rohini were also sold on first come first serve basis.”
In Jasola, 41 flats were sold on the first day. In Rohini, more than 700 flats were sold within 10 days.
