Congress approves 4,696 houses for families displaced by Mid Manair project

Hyderabad: Congress government approved 4,696 Indiramma House on Saturday for families displaced by the Mid Manair Reservoir Project. Under this, financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh will be given to each beneficiary. Indiramma Indu Scheme,

Rajanna Sirisila district administration informed the state government that 10,683 families have been displaced Mid Manair Project Under the Relief and Rehabilitation (R&R) package, housing sites were provided in 12 villages including settlements. Of these, 5,987 beneficiaries constructed houses, and the remaining 4,696 families appealed for sanction of houses under the Indiramma Indu scheme.

Rajanna Sirisila District Collector took it forward Telangana Housing Corporation Limited sent the proposal to the government for approval. Considering the proposal, the government issued GO MS 42, granting house approval to the families.

Additionally, the state government on Saturday issued orders to sanction 863 Indiramma housing units for families who lost their land due to the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal. These housing units were sanctioned from the state reserved quota, duly relaxing the eligibility criteria of Indiramma Indu Yojana.
