Attractive bidding opportunity for prime residential development near Punjabi Bagh

New Delhi: Rail Land Development Authority ,RLDA), a statutory authority of Indian Railways, has invited bids for residential development of a railway land parcel near Punjabi Bagh under (west) Delhi Division Of Northern Railway,

According to a statement from RLDA, the land parcel covers 46,313.4 square meters (4.63 hectares) and has a reserve price of Rs 1,100 crore. The parcel will be leased for 99 years with a maximum permissible floor area ratio (FAR) of 200 on the gross area.

The reserve price for the bid has been set at Rs 1,100 crore, and the last date for e-bid submission is November 22. A senior Delhi government official said, “The site is bounded on the north by Shakurbasti railway station and on the east by vacant railway land, on the south by NH-9 (Rohtak Road), and on the west by additional railway vacant land and a By parking area.

RLDA highlighted the excellent connectivity of the site, noting its prominent frontage along the Old Rohtak Road (NH 9) and access through the Ring Road. “It can be accessed through the Ring Road, which further enhances its strategic location. The site is located close to major metro stations, ensuring easy access,” he said.

The location is just 350 meters from Madipur Metro Station and 800 meters from Shivaji Park Metro Station, providing good public transport links. This site comes under the jurisdiction of Delhi Municipal Corporation.

“It is part of the Delhi Suburban Railway network and offers significant potential for both commercial and residential development due to its advantageous range and accessibility,” the official said.
