116 families celebrate new beginnings with affordable housing allotments in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: 116 families receive allotment letters in a step towards providing affordable housing to slum dwellers affordable housing project ,AHP) on Tuesday at the IDCOL Auditorium.

Housing and Urban Development Minister Krishna Chandra Mohapatra, who also presides over Bhubaneswar Development Authority ,BDA), distributed letters to beneficiaries of three different housing projects: 47 for Chandrashekharpur AHP, 36 for Neelmadhab Housing AHP, and 28 for Barunei Enclave AHP in Subudhipur.

During the function Mohapatra said, “Owning a home in the capital city is a dream for many. Through these affordable housing schemes, we are providing not only shelter but a quality of life with proper infrastructure and basic amenities.” are ensuring better quality.” It was conducted through a transparent lottery system under independent oversight.

BDA officials confirmed that the remaining houses in all the projects will be distributed to the eligible beneficiaries in phases.
