Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority ,Lake Authority) is preparing to accelerate Land acquisition for various housing schemes In different areas of the city. This main issue is to be discussed along with many other issues in the LDA board meeting to be held on Wednesday.
In the board meeting, decisions will be taken on land acquisition for various residential schemes in IT City, Wellness City, Sitapur Road and other areas.
The authority will focus on planned development on Lucknow-Sultanpur National Highway by purchasing land on consent basis and mobilizing land through land pooling.
The discussions will also include providing equivalent land in exchange for the Army land falling under the Green Corridor and acquisition of land from the Forest Department, which is part of the 60-metre road connecting the scheme to the Outer Ring Road. This is for the implementation of LDA’s Mohan Road Scheme, which involves purchasing or acquiring land by common consent and reclaiming the land registered with the state government.
EESL’s proposal for allowing conversion of residential property into commercial property as well as charging points for e-vehicles will also be discussed.
Apart from this, many other topics including land acquisition, permission will be discussed in the board meeting.
