The LDA has also floated tenders for the development of an underground irrigation system along the Gomti riverfront extending from the stadium to Lohia Bridge (LHS) and from the ADCP office to Gomti Barrage (RHS). The project, with an estimated cost of Rs 2 crore, will install underground pipelines, sprinklers and pop-ups for regular irrigation of trees and plants.

Additionally, a 50 KW solar power plant will be installed at Jyotiba Phule Zonal Park in Kanpur Road Scheme at a cost of approximately Rs 25 lakh. Road safety and black spot works will also be carried out on 30 meter, 24 meter and 18 meter wide roads in Sector-J of Basant Kunj Scheme, with an estimated budget of Rs 98 lakh.
