file photo Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority ,Lake Authority) announced on Sunday discount on flats In various plans to celebrate its 50th anniversary. Under this initiative, home buyers Direct discount on flats can range from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh.
The authority board approved the proposal prepared under the direction of LDA vice president Prathamesh Kumar. This special offer will be valid from 21st October to 31st December and will complement the existing discounts. Operating on a ‘first come, first served’ basis, the scheme allows individuals or families to purchase multiple flats.
Apart from the direct discount, the offer also includes various incentives for prompt payment. Buyers can avail 6% discount if they pay 90% of the flat price within 45 days, 5% discount within 60 days, 4% discount within 75 days and 3% discount within 90 days.
This offer has been prepared to celebrate 50 years of establishment of LDA in December 2024. The rebate is offered depending on the price range of the flats: Rs 1 lakh for flats priced between Rs 22 lakh to Rs 50 lakh, Rs 1.5 lakh for flats priced between Rs 50 lakh. lakh and Rs 75 lakh, and Rs 2.5 lakh for those above Rs 75 lakh.
The flats available under various schemes range from 500 to 1,900 sq ft and include 1 BHK, 2 BHK, 3 BHK and 4 BHK options, with prices ranging from approximately Rs 23 lakh to Rs 1.08 crore. Government employees can secure possession of the flats by paying 25% of the price, while the general public can do so by paying 35%.
The prices of these flats will not increase and have been frozen for one year for the convenience of buyers. This proposal also got approval from the LDA board.
Flats are available in many locations including Gomtinagar, Jankipuram, Priyadarshini (Sitapur Road), Aliganj, Aishbagh, Kanpur Road, Devpur Para and Sharda Nagar. With this initiative, LDA aims to support potential home buyers in realizing their dreams of home ownership in Lucknow during this festive season.
