Delhi development body issues 83 conveyance deeds in PM-Uday camps

Prime Minister-Housing Rights Scheme on Unauthorized Colonies in Delhi (PM-Uday) The scheme was organized by DDA on the first day on Saturday to resolve the issues related to the scheme.

“On the first day, at least 414 new applications/registrations were made, while 411 pending applications were cleared of deficiencies. Overall, 113 applications were approved and 83 conveyance deeds in various unauthorized colonies and “Authorization slips were executed.” ,

Saxena also distributed ownership certificates to 40 beneficiaries. He also directed DDA to expeditiously dispose of all pending 62,000 applications and expeditiously process new applications.

On the instructions of LG, DDA started a camp for the people living in unauthorized colonies of Delhi. It said camps are to be organized every Saturday and Sunday from November 30 to December 29 in 10 processing centers inside these unauthorized colonies.

LG said that camps are organized for old and new cases. “I urge people to come in large numbers and get their pending issues resolved because the government has come to their doorstep,” he said.

Saxena said that PM-UDAY scheme was started in Delhi as per the Prime Minister. Narendra ModiThe government wants to give ownership rights to the people in unauthorized colonies. He said that the camps will be of great help in disposal of applications pending for the last few years.

It said some of the services offered at the camps include issuance of conveyance deed and authorization slip, GIS survey, matters related to new registration.

The camps are located in Burari, Najafgarh, Aya Nagar Extension, Karawal Nagar, Buddha Vihar Colony, Nangloi, Khirki Extension Malviya Nagar and New Ashok Nagar.

The PM-UDAY scheme aims to provide ownership rights to residents of 1,731 unauthorized colonies in Delhi. It said the primary objective of the scheme is to provide legal recognition to the properties of residents by providing them ownership rights.
