Amitabh Bachchan and his son have bought a property worth Rs 24.95 crore in Mumbai’s Mulund West area, the real estate consultancy said in a statement on Thursday. Square Yards said it has reviewed the registration documents.
“The newly purchased properties are located in Oberoi Realty’s premium residential project, Eternia, which offers ready-to-move-in 3 BHK and 4 BHK apartments,” it said.
The total carpet area of these apartments recently acquired by the Bachchan family is 10,216 sq ft, with a total of 10 apartments purchased – eight having a carpet area of 1,049 sq ft and two having a carpet area of 912 sq ft per unit.
Each transaction involved two car parking spaces, and the deal attracted a total stamp duty of Rs 1.50 crore.
Abhishek Bachchan bought six of these apartments for Rs 14.77 crore and Amitabh Bachchan bought the remaining four apartments, the statement said.
