Eldeco Group AGM Sandeep Tandon confirmed that the developer has paid Rs 5 crore to the Noida Authority and is planning another registration camp after Diwali.
Officials clarified that dues of Eldeco Inv were low, hence it was not eligible for the rehabilitation package, which provides two-year relief on interest and penalties for developers affected by the Covid-19 lockdown. Of the 57 defaulted projects in Noida, only 29 accepted the package.
Between February 26 and October 18, 2024, the department registered 5,925 flats in Greater Noida and 1,627 flats in Noida under the scheme. The next camp is planned to be held on Tuesday at Great Value Sharanam, Sector 107.
